CHINA!

Okay… well, I’ve been dreading this article because it’s pretty complicated and also anchors on my worst fears for the future of humanity, but as America’s fearless leader likes to say… let’s talk about:

CHINA!

Okay, let’s take it back to where this all started, when the Japanese forces massacred 400,000 Chinese civilians at NanKing… just kidding, I mean, that actually happened but, let’s try and stay a bit more relevant here…

Canada detained Huawei Technologies CFO Meng Wanzhou last December. The reasons stemming from alleged fraud committed by Meng regarding what she may or may not have disclosed to American Banks regarding the companies ties with Iran… and let’s be honest, Huawei is straight up fucking spying on us… but I mean, so is our own government so… and so is the perverted little hacker next door neighbor you always wave at as you pass him on the street… I mean, okay, I’m not trying to make light of the fact that China has found a backdoor into all of our telecommunications systems, but like, who fucking cares at this point? All governments have info on all citizens. Welcome to 2019!

Back to the point.

Since then, a fucking shit storm has ensued… and it’s important that you understand the politics of it all… just so that when you see that mushroom cloud exploding over the horizon, you can await your pending death with the assurance that you know WHY you are about to be blown into smithereens (or die slowly from radiation poisoning).

So, the biggest problem is the trade war which has begun… and let’s be clear, this all stems from America and China jostling for world control… and I mean, obviously Canada has to take America’s side. Both China or America could invade Canada easier than Germany invaded Poland, but the Americans are much closer so… easy choice. The tariffs and retaliatory tariffs will cause a serious shockwave throughout the world economy, so get ready to watch the price of goods sore as stock markets panic…

On top of that, China has detained and charged two Canadians, Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor. They are both likely going to be executed on some bogus ass charges… Kovrig is actually on leave from Global Affairs Canada, so China has effectively ignored the process of diplomatic immunity, which is to say the least, concerning.

And let’s not forget about this Robert Schellenberg fella, who granted, likely smuggled some drugs, but is now definitely going to be executed in China… I mean, shit… they are not playing little league over there, and I mean this in all honesty, if you’re planning on travelling to China in the next year, you might want to rethink your trip. Go to Mexico or something like a normal Canadian!

Anyways, what does this all mean? Well, the US and China have ramped up their rhetoric (and tariffs), to scary and dangerous points, although it did help the Trudeau government get rid of the steel and aluminum tariffs imposed by the US (because at this point, we are all going to be so desperate for trading partners…).

Basically, this is the start of WW III, in my humble opinion. But it will likely be an economic war/ technological… so, if you have Huawei telephone, maybe think about switching on your next upgrade plan 😊

Independent Senators = Turds

Life is funny. I’m sitting here trying to come up with something to write about, I mean… there’s Norman, China, election issues; but then comes along a glorious news article which really works to solidify some of the healthy skepticism I’ve been attempting to foster in you (all three of my readers!) over the past week (and will continue to do so as we approach the 2019 election).

Having said that, please take a gander at exhibit A:

Okay, so let’s break this down. When Trudeau was elected in 2015 he promised to abolish partisan politics in the Senate by appointing ‘independent’ senators. Good show, good show. I mean, I support the sentiment, only problem is these ‘independent’ senators are just liberal senators… it’s the same game with a different name. (You can call a turd a filet-mignon, but when I bite into it, it still tastes like shit 😉 )

So, House of Commons resources are never to be used for partisan activities, seeing as that money is supposed to come from the Parties themselves through their fundraising… not fucking tax payers dollars (sorry, it happens all the fucking time though because people just don’t notice… and the news doesn’t bother reporting it to the extent they enjoy covering scandals or celebrity bowel movements).

Pretty clear here that this ‘independent’ Senator (cough liberal cough) sent out a poll with pretty obvious intent… (that intent being to gauge whether people are happy with the liberals changes to the Senate… which funny enough, close to 80% of Canadians said they want the Senate to ‘retain’ these changes… although as I’ve just fucking showed you, really nothing has changed… so I mean, that’s a whole other issue with public ignorance that I could rant about…).

And god bless her, Ms. Dasko went right ahead and submitted this clearly biased poll to be footed by the tax payers, and I mean, it’s not even on her, just like Duffy wasn’t the one who approved all his bogus residential claims. Why do the fucking bureaucrats approving these things never have to answer for their decision to green light? Oh right, because French…

Basically, the Senate’s Board of Internal Economy ought to deny these expenses and then if we really want to play fair, all these ‘independent’ senators can go ahead and just call themselves Liberal. L

Norman Case: UPDATE

There’s been significant developments in the Norman Case… I guess, although, I mean, I sort of called it…

But it certainly appears that the liberals were once again meddling with shit behind the scenes, and whether they instructed the prosecutors to drop the case or not (I mean, it’s like 99% they did…), everyone is going to think they did unless they release unredacted documents (which they won’t). I only say it’s 99% because of the timing of all of this. (Look, it’s a pretty bold assurance for some uninformed blogger to make, but the fact that MP Andrew Leslie had just announced his intent to testify on behalf of Norman, coupled with the current climate and what looks like mounting evidence that there was something fishy going on with the Davies contract (see what I did there?), I just think it’s safe to say, at some point, someone from Trudeau’s camp at the very least gave a suggestive nod to the crown prosecutor…)

So, what’s this all mean? Is Justin Trudeau the first Prime Minister to interfere with judicial processes and try to secure million-dollar contracts for his buddies… I think you know the answer (cough, Chretien, Mulroney, probably all of them… except Kim, poor gal, she just didn’t have enough time☹).

The problem is, our current PM and his office have simply no tact whatsoever. They are operating like fucking amateurs, and its downright embarrassing to be frank.

And please don’t be fooled into believing that the Conservatives have any moral high ground to stand on this. Yes, it looks like members of Harper’s former cabinet had a role in his release, which is good. I mean, I’m happy Norman is free. What was happening to him was pretty shitty, becoming the fall guy for what appears to be some sort of ploy to fuck with the $700 million-dollar ship contract (see my first article), but in the end, the Conservatives only give a shit about this poor bastard because it creates a running narrative for this continuing debacle of a year for Trudeau and the PMO.

Like everything in politics, this is strategy. But at least an innocent dude was released from the jaws of justice, which oh so often clamp shut forever (read the Trail by Kafka if you disagree with my last sentence…)

But let me reiterate: I pretty much called this the morning Norman was released so, if you’re not reading this blog yet you probably fucking should be…

You’re welcome.

Partisan Politics & the Green Party

With Elizabeth May and the Green Party on the rise, let’s take a moment to talk about partisan politics, aka, me vs you. (also, kind of a slow news day…)

This is a good thing for the system. With the NDP’s collapse in the 2015 election, we saw the race narrow to two parties, Libs vs Cons, much like the American system, which I believe has a polarizing effect on our politics. It becomes an “you’re either with us or against us” type situation, which leads to charming white supremist rallies and unabashed media biases from the left… (and the right…)

A two-party system allows for extremism to grow on either side. There are only so many voters, and if there are only two parties, well, you gotta try and get that vote somehow, so I guess you better cater to that racist fella who don’t like dem Mexicans… BUILD A WALL (smart!)

And hey, if you think that people can be butterflies, well, that might become a completely valid and reasonable opinion if you’re catering to the extreme left…

I think you get where I’m going with this.

A multiple party system works to diversify and spread out humanities crazy little ideas. And let’s be honest, we have a way of going too far with things… (unions, liberalism, conservatism, capitalism, fucking sports, hashtags, porn, food, whatever the fuck really, we will find a way to exploit and exhaust it)

My biggest beef with partisan politics is that it removes logic from the equation. People say what they think they are supposed to say… You’re conservative, well you hate carbon tax. You’re liberal, you hate oil… and we end up standing in two giant separate circle jerks, where people say the same things over and over while nodding in profuse agreement without really listening or caring what the other side has to say…

There’s a middle ground to everything people (unless you want to talk about Season 8 of Game of Thrones, because that’s just complete garbage).

If the Green Party can pick up the oh so obvious slack of the NDP, we might see the libs and cons having to adjust their platforms slightly, or at least sweat a bit, which I support unreservedly.

So, go Liz go! (also congrats on the marriage😊)

Norman Case

Okay… this one is a little dry but I’ll try and keep it fluid for y’all.

So back in the Harper days, the government signed a $700 million dollar contract for some ships with Davie Shipbuilding… or wait, one giant fucking ship. Pretty much a floating gas station, so I’ve been told.

Then the Liberals came in and initiated a review of the contract… (think SNC type maneuvering, surely there was a more liberal company out there that could build the ships!), however, the Liberal Government would eventually go ahead with Davie Shipbuilding.

Mark Norman, who was the Vice-Chief of the Defence Staff (Pretty much #2 in Canada’s military), was suspended and subsequently arrested in March of 2018 for allegedly leaking documents pertaining to the ship contract.

Today, the case was dropped. Hurray!

I actually stand by that hurray, since I have an affinity for whistleblowers or anyone who attempts to keep this giant bureaucratic monster of a system in line. It’s a scary dystopia when we punish those who act in the public’s best interest… (look you either think Ed Snowden is a hero or a traitor, but my question is, why has there been no repercussions for the entities which were illegally spying on its own citizens… these are the questions that haunt me at night 😊)

Okay, so why did they drop the charges?

This case was politically charged from the start on account of the timing and behind the scene grand standing, but with the SNC Lavalin scandal, coupled with the fact that Liberal MP Andrew Leslie announced in a statement this week that he would not seek re-election and would be testifying on Norman’s behalf…

I mean, it’s pretty fucking clear right? Although prosecutors claim there was ABSOLUTELY no politically motivated actions in this case (ha-ha!). If I was a betting man (and I am), my deduction is that the Liberals got spooked by Leslie’s announcement and made a risk/benefit assessment. Then our supposedly separate but so clearly intricately linked judicial and legislative systems capitulated, and, PRESTO – a good man goes free.

If I’m being 100% with y’all, I don’t even understand the intricacies of this cluster fuck, especially considering the ship was actually built on time and on schedule… which is by all accounts shocking. So, what do we make of this? Fuck, not much. Just be careful if you’re gonna leak stuff cause the government will come for your ass fast… oh and I guess the millions of dollars which was likely wasted on the court proceedings, BRAVO!

Election 2019: Environmentalists and Carbon Taxes

Well ladies and gentlemen its shaping up to be one helluva an election year! (and yes, there are actually gift wrapped turds in suits here in Ottawa who walk around saying such blasphemy)

Get ready to hear two things, A LOT.

ENVIRONMENT!!!!!

And

CARBON TAX!!!!!!

(imagine those stupid laser sounds from techno songs!) Pew-Pew-Pew

So, let me break that down for you:

The Liberals and NDP will be talking steady about the environment (not because they are environmentalists, but because of social trends and polling data which suggests the public is receptive to it – not to mention the Green Party’s recent success in BC – which all aligns pretty well with SONY and other various international corporations who construct specific parts for Windmills that we literally cannot make in this country, for instance?).

But just remember this: Environment = sexy right now.

And the Conservatives will be droning on about unfair federal taxations placed on Provinces and, more specifically, RURAL communities (shocker!), which is causing your gas to go up in price, not because they give a shit about your small businesses or your wallets (do not be fooled!), but because there’s a lot of pissed off Albertans right now, and coupled with the Blue Collar worker’s new found hatred for their fancy selfie-taking PM, it’s an easy strategical move.

All I ask is that the next self-righteous turd you see (you know the type, the one who feels the need to post a ten paragraph status update on Facebook proclaiming their ideologies for all the world to see… dude, your emotions are showing), stating that they are liberal because they “care about the environment” or they’re conservative because they believe in robust economy (yeah, no shit… who doesn’t), just kindly explain to them where they are actually drawing their ideology from 😊

…and it’s the same fucking place, in case you didn’t get the gist ;}
